The intralogistics industry joins forces

Providers of systems, components and software in the intra-logistics industry joined forces at the beginning of 2004 to form „Forum Intralogistik„. This was achieved through the good services of the trade organisations, the German Engineering Federation (Verband deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau – VDMA) and the Association of Storage and Associated Equipment Manufacturers (Verband Lagertechnik und Betriebseinrichtungen).

The intra-logistics industry is characterised by the interplay of numerous machine and plant construction enterprises with IT firms, storage engineers, sorting specialists and equipment and component manufacturers. These companies are specialists in different fields and perform various functions. Their cooperation extends across many product areas and areas of expertise in order to provide users of intralogistics systems with the best possible solutions.

As a representative of the IT providers, PSI Logistics has been committed to „Forum Intralogistik“ right from the very beginning. And as a founding member, PSI Logistics is also involved in steering the forum. PSI Logistics also plays a leading role in several working groups.
