PSI Logistics solution for the food industry

Even PSIwms – the Warehouse Management System – is tailor-made for special storage (cold store, BBD, etc.) of foodstuffs. It is suitable for management and maintenance of best-before-dates, residual terms and production data (production date, etc.) and fulfils the legal requirements (EU Regulation 178/2002) for consistent and uninterrupted batch tracking (to customer/from customer to supplier etc.). Moreover, it supports tracking of receipt batches, use of batches in production and order picking and takes into account the ISO 9000 certification requirements with regard to production identification and material flow control. The PSIwms is easy to use and especially provided for operation in multi-client and multi-location systems. It serves the complete scope of storage management, from goods receipt with detailed quality check to incorporation of modern conveyor means.

Strategic and tactical management as well as distribution tasks are resolved with the planning, control and optimisation tool – PSIglobal. This tool supports logistics challenges in the areas of structure optimisation, distribution planning, location selection and logistics network planning and combines production and logistics issues.
