Event Management System
In today’s world, where Just In Time production and the shortest possible time to delivery is so important, internal warehousing business processes are extremely time-critical. Delays in logistics business processes are simply not acceptable. Due to the large number of processes running in parallel, manual monitoring is no longer feasible. The Event Management System, which is integrated in PSIwms, enables an automated monitoring of business processes. Just which business processes are to be monitored and how differs from one customer to the next. For this reason, the Event Management System can be configured specifically for each customer. If the system determines any deviation from the target status defined, this is displayed in PSIwms using alarm messages or the person responsible is notified by e-mail or SMS. The aspect-oriented programming enables processes to be traced independently and pro-actively. Both active events and passive incidents can be recorded and the relevant alarm messages can be generated. The Event Management is designed to be an optional enhancement module for PSIwms. It noticeably reduces costs and increases the quality of delivery.
