Berlin, 15 July 2005 – PSI Logistics GmbH, the logistics subsidiary of PSI AG, boosts management at the Hamburg location. Andreas Hampe was given responsibility for the area of Warehouse Management Systems at PSI Logistics on July 1. This extension of management in the logistics business area has been made by PSI in answer to the strong growth in this sector.
Before joining PSI Logistics Andreas Hampe was active as Sales Director for Turn-Key Logistic Systems at SSI Schäfer Noell in Giebelstadt. He has gathered comprehensive experience in logistics over a period of many years with focus on complete systems. PSI Logistics have thus completed the strategic direction of the Hamburg site in an ideal way.
PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, chemicals, machinery, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs 1,065 persons in the group.
