PSI Presents First Examples of Applications of the New Production Control System Integrated production management at the Digital Factory 2005

Berlin, 9 March 2005 – At the lead trade fair Digital Factory in Hanover from 11 to 15 April 2005 PSI will be presenting the first concrete examples of customer projects on the basis of the new production control system PSImcontrol. The system, first presented last year, allows for the integrated control and monitoring of production and logistics processes. Furthermore, the continuous integration of other applications from maintenance to manufacturing execution systems to supply chain management will be shown. An additional focus is the functional extensions in the ERP standard product PSIpenta.

 

The new production control system PSImcontrol allows the horizontal and vertical integration of business processes along a company’s value-added chain. In Hall 16, at Stand B15, the first example applications from customer projects will be presented. In addition, PSI is offering field and subject-based conference presentations for mechanical and plant engineering and construction and the automotive and supplier industry in the framework of the Hanover Fair.

 

At the SAP Partner Stand in Hall 16, Stand A06, PSI will present the new production control system for the steel and chemical industry as a connection to the SAP portals. In addition, PSI will be presenting new developments in network control technology and operations management for utilities at the leading fair Energy in Hall 13, Stand C62.
