Berlin, 19 February 2003 – At CeBIT, PSI AG is presenting PSI Manufacturing, a unique, new offer for production companies. The solution allows an optimal view of the working processes by integrating all the existing systems for production control. PSI Manufacturing records, analyses and visualizes the processes on clearly arranged projection screens. This allows for a control center with an overview of all the current production conditions from which all the processes can be controlled, regulated and monitored.
The system allows for the quick recognition of disruptions and includes information from preceding processes. The goal is the control of the complexity of the manufacturing processes so as to attain considerable cost and time-savings along the entire supply chain. With PSI Manufacturing additional rejects are reduced, rework and lost time minimized, efficiency and quality increased.
With PSI Manufacturing PSI combines project and software experience from more than 33 years and concentrates on its basic core competence – the management of business processes in production. To accomplish this the company's competences from .the fields of production planning, manufacturing and logistics have been bundled with modern control engineering from the PSI Energy Business.
