PSI Awarded Additional PSIpenta Orders from Poland and Switzerland New product version also successful internationally – first order from Poland

Berlin, 10 January 2005 – With the Polish company MATEC Sp. z.o.o., a manufacturer of plastic parts for the automobile industry, and the Swiss metal-processing company Fischer, two international manufacturing companies have decided to use the new version 7 of the ERP standard PSIpenta. MATEC produces parts for interiors for BMW and Opel and is part of the HJS Schmidt Group, which has production sites in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. Fischer Reinach AG and Fischer Rista AG, two of the most modern and powerful metal-processing companies in Switzerland, have selected PSIpenta. The total volume of the MATEC and Fischer projects is about 650,000 euros.

For MATEC the decision was based first and foremost on PSI’s high competence in the field, the orientation toward international production companies and the convincing references in the automobile industry. Fischer decided primarily as a result of the good support foreign contracts by PSIpenta.

With MATEC, the PSI office in Poznan, which was established in the mid-2004, has a successful reference project in the Polish market. For PSI this is an important milestone for expanding the eastern European business and takes advantage of the opportunities resulting from the EU enlargement.

PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, chemicals, machinery, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers. PSI was founded in 1969 and currently employs 1,100 persons in the group.
