PSI Awarded Logistics Contracts from Russia and Belarus

PSI warehouse management system for four additional sites

Berlin, 4. September 2006 – PSI has been charged by the Russian logistics service provider National Logistics Company (NLC) with supplying two additional warehouse management systems for the new sites Rostov-on-Don and Vladivostok. This raises the total number of NLC warehouse sites equipped with PSI logistics software to ten. The Belarus logistics service provider BLT Logistic has awarded PSI with delivering warehouse management systems for the logistics terminals Novinki and Obchak in the Minsk region. Both warehouse sites are radio-controlled and should, upon completion, hold more than 40,000 palette places.

NLC is the leading service provider in the fast-growing Russian logistics market. Warehouse management software from PSI has already been successfully used for a number of years in all the NLC logistics centers. BLT Logistic is a young, rapidly growing logistics company which is striving to gain a leading position in the Belarus market for logistics services. With the orders from NLC and BLT Logistic, PSI continues its expansion in the fast-growing eastern European market for logistics software.

PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, machinery, plant construction, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1,000 persons in the group.
