PSI Concludes Partnership Agreement with Malaysian InControl Tech

Expansion of sales and project activities in growth market Southeast Asia

Berlin, 24 November 2006 – The PSI AG has concluded a partnership agreement, effective immediately, with the Malaysian InControl Tech Sdn Bhd. (ICT). The cooperation will first concentrate on the systems for managing major electrical and gas networks at energy providers. Both partners together have references in Malaysia. ICT and PSI have implemented a SCADA/DMS (Distribution Management System) for Kuala Lumpur and the province Selangor and have been awarded for the left control centers for the Malaysian peninsula based on the control system PSIcontrol. With the partnership the expansion of the sales and project activities will be expanded in the emerging economic region of Southeast Asia.

 

ICT is a company near Kuala Lumpur specialized in control and automation systems. The company has a staff of more than 70 persons and has been working successfully in the market for a number of years. PSI and ICT have already acquired and successfully implemented orders totaling in the two-digit million region in the last three years.

 

The partnership agreement is another important milestone for PSI in the context of international marketing of package solutions for energy control technology, especially in Southeast Asia. In the future it is intended to expand the cooperation to the fields of airports and major industries.

 

PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, machinery, plant construction, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers. PSI was founded in 1969 and currently employs 1,050 persons in the group.
