Berlin, 28 May 2003 – PSI is continuing to support the Federal Office for Freight Transportation Federal Office for Freight Transport (BAG) in the introduction of the new distance related truck toll. The project consulting contract awarded to PSI in autumn 2001 was extended by BAG. The specifics of this contract are for the PSI services in the field of project management and consulting in setting up the control, fines and monitoring authorities with about 900 employees and the coordination of the cooperation with the operating companies.
PSI has supporting government for many years in the implementation of innovative solutions for the support of administrative processes. Amongst the customers in this area there are the federal and state authorities as well as communities and public utilities with which PSI has jointly developed new concepts, methods and solutions for the modern government.
PSI AG develops individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, chemicals, machinery, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers. PSI was founded in 1969 and currently employs 1,250 persons in the group.
