PSI Increases New Orders and EBIT in 2nd Quarter

Berlin, 12 July 2007 - In the 2nd quarter, the PSI Group increased its new orders by 13% to 34 million euros compared to the previous year (2nd quarter 2006: 30 million euros). The EBIT for the 2nd quarter of 2007 improved by about 1.4 million euros to about one million euros (2nd quarter 2006: -0.4 million euros). In the first six months of the year the EBIT was increased by 2.2 million euros to 1.8 million euros (1st half of 2006: -0.4 million euros).
The Traffic Systems in the segment Infrastructure Management contributed significantly to the increase in new orders in the 2nd quarter. New international orders were again attained in Energy Management. On the basis of the good order situation and a well-filled sales pipeline, the management expects the positive development to continue in the second half of the year. PSI will publish the detailed six-months report as planned on 30 July 2007.
