Berlin, 30 November 2018 – PSI Logistics GmbH has been ranked as a “TOP SME Employer 2019” by the German business magazine Focus Business. In the framework of the BVL initiative “Wirtschaftsmacher“, PSI, as a founding member, is also supporting the German image campaign “Logistic Heroes“.
The second annual issue of “Focus Business”, which was published in November, is based on data and employer assessments from the evaluation portal Kununu. According to the report, PSI Logistics had an overall rating of 4.1 points on a scale of 5. In the assessment of specific aspects, the company even won the top rating from the employees at the three sites as well as from applicants.
The closeness to management, the flat hierarchy, low amount of attrition and the interesting tasks were all praised.
“Working atmosphere, employer benefits and the range of tasks form a harmonic entity,” emphasizes Dr. Giovanni Prestifilippo, Managing Director of PSI Logistics.
“The high rating in the current ranking confirms the subjective feeling from an objective perspective. According to a recent survey by the Bundesvereinigung Logistik e.V. BVL (German Logistics Association), the occupational field of IT specialists has been hardest hit by the lack of experts,” Prestifilippo continues.
To counteract the lack of experts, as a founding member, PSI Logistics supports the German image campaign “Logistics Heroes” from the “Wirtschaftsmacher“ initiative of the BVL that includes about 40 interested parties and companies in the field of logistics, industry and trade. “The image campaign is intended to improve the perception of the manifold careers available in the field of logistics and increase interest in them,” explains Prestifilippo.
On the basis of its own software products, the PSI Group develops and integrates complete solutions for optimizing the flow of energy and material at suppliers (energy networks, energy trading, public passenger transport) and industry (raw material extraction, metal production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1,750 persons worldwide.
