PSI Presents New Logistics Solutions at transport logistic 2011

Berlin, 11 April 2011 - PSI subsidiary PSI Logistics GmbH will be presenting new functions in the PSIglobal planning and control system and the PSItms transportation management system at transport logistic in Munich from 10 to 13 May 2011 at the joint stand of Bayern Innovativ (Hall B3, Stand 313/416).

In the new release 2.0, PSIglobal contains extended functions, especially for data import, the simulated shipment manipulation and the level of service optimisation and therefore supports the optimal arrangement and controlling of global logistics networks.

In version 1.6, the PSItms transportation management system offers new functions, in particular for factory trades for production supply and waste disposal, and therefore provides more transparency, resource efficiency and user-based accounting. The holistic view of production and logistics allows for independently regulated and automated processes, taking into consideration all the resources available without intervention of the materials planners.

PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own software products, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, heat, water), cross-company production management (metals, automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, mining, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs 1,400 persons in the group.
