PSI Presents Operations Control Systems at the Intertraffic in Amsterdam

Integrated telematic and ticketing solutions for transport companies

Berlin, 14 March 2006 – The PSI subsidiary PSI Transportation GmbH will be presenting control system solutions for transportation companies at the international trade fair Intertraffic in Amsterdam from 4 to 7 April 2006 in Hall 1, Stand 307. Along with the presentation of an integrated on-board computer, the focus will be on the client-capable operations control system for city, regional and rail traffic.

The client-capable control system PSItraffic/City for busses and trams combines central functions for various operations. The communication network and the telematic infrastructure can be used by all the vehicles. By providing a joint PSItraffic platform, even smaller companies can profit from the modern operations control system. Operational processes are optimized, costs reduced and passenger service and connection assurance improved.

Since the beginning of 2006, PSI, together with its partner Höft & Wessel AG, has also been offering a complete system which unites market-leading ticketing and telematic systems.

Furthermore, in a seminar lecture at the Intertraffic, PSI will be presenting the latest developments for a flexible on-board computer concept.

PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, chemicals, machinery, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers. PSI was founded in 1969 and currently employs 1,050 persons in the group.
