PSI Presents Solutions for the Collaborative Production Management

Berlin, 27 October 2005 – In the framework of the 6th ”Fabrikplanung“ conference from 8 – 9 November 2005 in Ludwigsburg and the “SPS/IPC/Drives“ exhibition from 22 – 24 November 2005 in Nuremberg, PSI is presenting the latest solutions in the field of PSI Production Management. The focus is on the integration of task-specific solutions with live presentations of the production management system PSImcontrol. On the basis of selected scenarios, PSI will show how Collaborative Production Management (CPM) might look in companies in the future.

At the 6th “Fabrikplanung“ PSI, along with the participation on the accompanying exhibition, will be represented with two presentations on the subjects of ”Tasks and Benefits of Embedded Simulation Components in IT Systems for Production Management” and “Data Modeling and Data Management as Part of Factory Planning (IEC 62264)”.

At the exhibition for electric automation technology “SPS/IPC/Drives“, Hall 7A, Stand 220, PSI will, amongst other things, present solutions from current projects, one of which is an integrated monitoring and process management system that was realized with PSImcontrol for a productions logistics center and provides for transparency with one glance process overview, jam warnings and system status.

With PSImcontrol PSI provides an extraordinary product with which the demands for future Collaborative Production Management can be handled by the practices of today.

PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, chemicals, machinery, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers.
