PSI strengthens know-how in the area of logistic networks

Dr. Giovanni Prestifilippo is responsible for development of PSIglobal

Berlin, 18 March 2008 – With effect of 1 March 2008, the PSI subsidiary PSI Logistics GmbH has entrusted Dr.-Ing. Giovanni Prestifilippo with the management of Logistic Networks at the Dortmund site. In his new function, he will be responsible for further development of the PSIglobal system for strategic, tactical and operative management of logistic plants in PSI Logistics.

Dr. Prestifilippo was previously Group Leader in charge of distribution and procurement logistics at the Fraunhofer IML in Dortmund. His extensive experience will enable PSI Logistics to strengthen and expand its activities in the area of transport and logistic networks.

PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, water, heat), cross-company production management (steel, mechanical engineering, automotive, logistics) and infrastructure management for telecommunications, transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and currently employs more than 1,000 persons in the group.
